Our First Business Birthday
What a year its been! This past year has seen some massive leaps for Bombardier, from starting up back in April to stocking our products in a physical store in September, it truly has been a whirl wind.
There has been countless changes since we started up, and although not everybody may agree, I believe change is good! 3 Logo's later I am so happy with the look and style of the brand. Our first 2 logo's were created by me so it was a huge investment when we decided to hire a graphic designer to completely revamp our branding! (and the designer we hired is just amazing, do feel free to reach out to me if you would like her details) It was without a doubt one of the best business decisions I have made to date. One thing I have learnt from running Bombardier? If you are not 100% happy with your logo and style when you first start up, you never will be.
We have also had so many changes in the types of products we sell, and again I think this is all for the better! When I started making wax melts I never thought that so many of you would like them, let alone buy them! Thinking back I definitely would of done things differently from the get go if I had known what the demand was going to be, however the learning curve is invaluable. I often get asked 'Why have you stopped doing those shapes? Why don't you sell these anymore?' and a lot of the time, changes have been made due to efficiency. Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to sell wax melts in all different shapes and sizes but for me it just isn't efficient to do so. I work full time as well as running Bombardier, I just simply don't have the time to make and package little individual bee melts like I used too! When I first opened Bombardier I was furloughed from my full time job, meaning I had the free time, but this just isn't feasible for me anymore.
I am so happy with where Bombardier is at the moment, I'm learning how to manage my time better which I think is the driving force that will push the business from strength to strength! One thing I will say is that although we are in a great place currently, I expect more changes to happen further down the line as we grow. This is normal for a growing business and I am so excited to see what the future holds!
I am forever grateful for the support and love that my customers show. Everytime we get a sale I still feel as excited and happy as I did when I first opened! It truly is the customers that make the business, and I cannot thank you all enough. Happy 1st Business Birthday to us!
